Margaret Schroeder
Meet PritikinLIVE educator Margaret Schroeder, MPH, RDN, LDN. With an undergraduate degree in Hispanic Studies and Comparative Politics, and a master’s degree in public health, Margaret brings a unique skill set to our team. She completed her clinical rotation at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. In addition to her clinical rotation, Margaret has worked with PACE, WIC, the Washington State Department of Public Health, and the Ecology Center, among other organizations. Margaret is deeply passionate about educating people on how to maintain and/or restore health through nutritious and delicious foods and loves working with patients ready for change. As a former college field hockey player and certified yoga instructor, she believes a healthy relationship with food and your body is essential to enjoying life - and that it is possible for everyone! She enjoys time in nature, staying active, gardening, and crafting in sunny San Diego where she lives with her husband and french bulldog. As part of our PritikinLIVE team, Margaret will be teaching nutrition classes to cardiac rehab patients across the country.
