Pritikin is excited to announced a change in its leadership. Following eight years of guiding the company’s growth as President, Terry Rogers has decided to transition from day-to-day operations to serve as a strategic advisor to the chairman, where his expertise and leadership will continue to shape the organization’s future. Simultaneously, John Cody has been named President, and will succeed Rogers and lead Pritikin ICR into its next phase of innovation and impact.
Since joining Pritikin ICR as President in October 2018, Rogers has been the catalyst for transformative growth across all aspects of the organization, including a ten-fold increase in its nationwide network of licensed providers and market-leading patient and client satisfaction scores. As President, Rogers was the driving force behind several strategic partnerships with prominent medical organizations and industry associations, expanding Pritikin’s reach and influence across the healthcare landscape. During his tenure, he also led the re-establishment of the Scientific Advisory Board and renewed Pritikin’s commitment to research, reinforcing its decades-long reputation for scientific rigor and evidence-based patient care.
Rogers’ keen focus on expansion and diversification led to the strategic acquisition of Chanl Health and its industry-leading virtual care management platform in October 2024. Additionally, Rogers was closely involved in advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., ultimately leading to the bipartisan passage of House Bill 7148 and a multi-year extension of reimbursement for virtual CR, ICR, and PR services across both physician offices and hospital outpatient programs.
With more than two decades of leadership in healthcare organizations, Cody brings a diverse skill-set and proven experience translating strategy into execution to his new role as President. Prior to joining the Pritikin ICR team as Chief Operating Officer in May 2019, Cody spent 14 years at Express Scripts (now part of Cigna) in a variety of leadership positions across the company. Over the last seven years at Pritikin ICR, John has been instrumental in strengthening organizational and financial performance, building a world-class culture, creating scalable processes, and positioning the company for continued growth and impact.
In his new role, Cody will oversee all facets of the Pritikin ICR organization, taking a data-driven approach to strategic initiatives and new markets, optimizing products and services to maximize impact, and continuing to steward its thriving company culture. Rogers will remain closely involved as special advisor to the Chairman and, in coordination with Cody, will specifically focus on strategic expansion, collaboration with key industry partners, research projects, and advocacy in Washington, D.C.
