Early each new year, Newsweek publishes an extensive list of the best specialty hospitals in the world broken down by category. The categories identified in this year's list include rankings in each of the following categories: cardiology and oncology (250), cardiac surgery and pediatrics (150), endocrinology (125), endocrinology (125), gastroenterology (125), orthopedics (125), neurology (125), neurosurgery (125), and pulmonology (125). According to this list, we are proud to share that four of our licensed facilities are some of the best cardiology hospitals in the world!
The four locations include Arkansas Heart Hospital (Little Rock, AR), Oklahoma Heart Hospital (Oklahoma City, OK), UC San Diego Health (San Diego, CA), and Barnes-Jewish West Hospital Heart Care Institute (Creve Coeur, MO).
To compile these rankings, Newsweek partnered with global research firm Statista. Together, they invited over 40,000 medical experts from 20 countries to help create an online survey. Results from this survey were collected between June and August of 2021 and helped determine this year's best hospitals list. To view the complete list and read the full methodology, visit Newsweek.
We congratulate each of these hospitals for making great strides towards exceptional cardiovascular care!
